MMM14 Week 3 Round Up

Posted on

Week three ended up being much cooler than expected so I broke out some hand knitted sweaters. Of course, my love affair with the Colette Mabel pattern hasn’t cooled so I stitched up yet another!

    • Thanks! This was my third or fourth Laurel but is still my favorite. I made it using the original pattern but thought it was a bit short for my 40 something legs so I ended up adding the contrasting band to the hem. I actually liked this so much I did the same on my red plaid winter version!

    • Laurel is my favorite too though I have to say that the first top really flatters you. Did you make it too?

I love that you knit and sew!

      • Thanks, I have made lots of Laurels but the orange floral is definitely my favorite. I didn’t make the top in the first photo. That was a Coldwater Creek clearance from a couple of years ago but I wear it all the time. I think faux wrap tops do flatter my body style so I wear them a lot. I need to find a good pattern so I can whip some up. This one was about $80.00 regular price (I paid about $30 on clearance) but I think I can make them for less if I can find a good pattern!

  3. I love all of your looks, but I think my favorite this week is your Cowl Neck Tee.. that fabric is fabulous and the colors suit you!
